Swan is a wine maker from France, and there is a particular style of dress she was after. Her main requirements were for it to be vintage style, with a quality lace across the shoulders, making sure to cover her tattoo.
I did a consultation with Swan and she was happy with the ideas and fabrics available, but since she was off to France for a holiday with her mother, they decided to see what was available there.
They came back after a few months, having looked everywhere in France, for laces and gowns, but in the end decided to go with Lainee’s Design. The dress was made from a corded and beaded lace, with a de-lustered satin underlay in mushroom tone. The back was finished with pearl buttons. It was beautiful.
