Ella had a very short time frame and was so lucky to find her absolutely perfect gown in my ready to wear selection! It was a gown just waiting for her – it was halfway to where I wanted it to be as I had already started to modify it for a more contemporary look.
From the sample that it was (covered in diamantes)- into a simple soft, elegant crepe gown with sheer and delicate knit lace. The idea I originally had for this change was to also add a trim of satin around the bodice edges, which I never got around to until I showed her the option and that’s when she then knew it was the dress for her!
We also created a bespoke floor-length veil that featured tiny individually hand-sewn silk flowers, lightly scattered from the clip. These flowers were from a lace piece that I had kept for about 10 years, just waiting for the right bride!
