Welcome to the Lainee Hermsen Bridal size chart.

For dresses with sleeves, we recommend ordering the custom measurements option. As well as for dresses with a lot of lace and beading - this will mean less cost for alterations later on. 

To order a standard size please follow the guidelines below and use a tape measure in metric (centimetres).

Make sure you have a friend who can take the measurements for you.

Take measurements firmly with no fingers underneath the tape measure. 

Choose the size that best matches to your largest measurements as gowns can be altered to 'take in', but it is harder to 'let out'.

To measure:

Bust: Largest part with non padded bra on. 

Waist: Smallest part with no extra clothes on.

Hips: Widest part (bum)

Hollow to hem: Looking straight ahead, make sure you have your wedding shoes on or footwear of similar height. Measure from the dip at the base of the neck between the collarbones - to the floor
