It was so lovely to work with Katie on her pale blush gown. Katie was already very familiar with what shapes and styles suited her figure type, so it was a dream to collaborate with her on a design. The main fabric used was taffeta and the dress had detailed overlays of beaded, corded lace motifs. I also produced a hair piece to match and I think it all came out nicely. Katie and Scotty, you are such a cute couple! What gorgeous photos!

"Lainee was amazing at drawing together all the aspects I loved from a handful of pictures torn from magazines and a very rough sketch. From the first drawings she showed me I knew she understood exactly what I wanted. The dress was perfect for me and so much more special than something bought from a store (without blowing the budget!). It was very exciting being involved in the building of the dress from the ground up and seeing it take shape. Lainee was even able to incorporate some lace and buttons from my Nan and Granny's wedding dresses."
