Lilli came to me with a cute dress that she had bought from Etsy in the UK. Although it was cute, there were a few issues... Primary one being that it looked like a nightie. It was more transparent than Lili had anticipated and didn't really have a "bridal" look to it. I made a new boned, lace-up bodice, added some lacy straps, tailored the fit, and refined the layers' seaming. Lili and I got along so well from the get-go and I ended up being invited to the wedding. Now we are great friends. :) Go, Lili & Dave!

"I bought a dress made from recycled vintage lace and a slip from a dress designer in New York. When I received it, I wasn't happy with overall look of dress. Lainee worked hard on it to create a beautiful fitted dress that gave me shape and support and looked pretty, yet retained the easy, fun, lace and flow of the original dress. I loved wearing it with my cow boy boots!"
